Chilly is a 6 month old puppy who was being fostered for a group in MD. Foster mom reported that Chilly and resident dog got snarky with one another and foster mom put her hand in the middle and got nipped. She did not need stitches. She told the group that Chilly had accidentally nipped her. She  then realized that it wasn't Chilly who did it but it was the resident dog. But that did not matter, the group called animal control and insisted that Chilly be put down. The problem was that no one, not animal Control, not the vet or the person fostering Chilly wanted her dead. The only one who insisted on it was the group. TLP was called in. We had Chilly removed from the state and evaluated. Chilly passed her evaluation with flying colors and was recommended to be a therapy dog.
