Peanut

Peanut, a young male pit bull killed  a neighbors cat. Peanut has a high prey drive, but is otherwise, a sweet and very loving dog. He was seized by the local ACO up until his court date. Court didn't go well at all and the judge didn't care to see any of the evaluations done on Peanut. Even while at the shelter, he became a kennel favorite.

He ordered him destroyed with no option of dangerous dog registry. An appeal was immediately filed to be heard in circuit court. Although local attorney did wind up winning the case, Peanuts owner moved with no forwarding information of where to contact him. So technically, Peanut was free, but there was no one to take him. After many months, a local group came along to spring Peanut into their care and eventually rehome him.
